Cultivating Health and Growth: Launch of the Project Under the Type 2 Diabetes Prevention Challenge with Indigenous Partners
Kinvia hosted a three-day event for delegates from six Indigenous partner communities to mark the official launch of the project under the Type 2 Diabetes Prevention Challenge, a pioneering initiative by Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) in partnership with Impact Canada. This gathering fostered rich dialogue between Nations on their current food systems and food security initiatives, this project’s potential impact on youth, and their overall vision for food security for their communities.
