Communities take action to prevent harmful traditional practices
The Slaight Livelihood and Gender Equality Fund has
provided transformational support for girls and women
in the eastern Amhara Region, Ethiopia. One of its main focuses is to address the deep-rooted gender inequality and harmful traditional practices that are endemic in the project area.
