WHAT WE DO
Our core belief is that food and nourishment is a human right. To us, food is life.
We work with communities who are building local, self-reliant, sustainable systems to provide food for their children, youth, and families across generations.
We work in solidarity with communities to impact all areas of nourishment at all stages of their lives, including income generation, education, gender equality, racial justice, and climate impacts.
Areas of Focus
We focus on all areas of nourishment, ensuring people's right to food by addressing food systems comprehensively. We tackle complex, interconnected issues such as gender equality, racial justice, and climate impacts to improve access to nutritious food and nurture the growth and potential of children, youth, and communities.
Food Security Projects
We are achieving significant advances in creating greater food security - especially in the face of the growing impacts of climate change on smallholder farmers - for families and communities through large-scale, collaborate and institutionally-funded projects.
The Path to Kinvia
Our mission is to accompany children, youth, and their communities as they work to overcome systemic barriers to ensuring their rights to nutritious and culturally appropriate food, fostering wholistic well-being.
In the coming months, we will embark on a new path to deepen our community-led approach and our actions toward decolonization. We hope you will join us on the path to Kinvia.
