Your partnership creates lasting change

You’re helping nourish children and communities
Through community-led farmer field schools and hands-on demonstration plots, local farmers have learned new techniques for planting, harvesting, pest control, and crop storage.
Women farmers have also gained access to resources like community extension agent visits, increasing their economic independence. Your support not only helps swomen-led businesses but is also boosting food production, creating healthier and more prosperous communities.
You’re strengthening education and development

You are advancing gender equality
Your partnership supports community-driven initiatives that help girls stay in school and thrive. Educators and community members participated in sexual and reproductive health and rights training, promoting girls’ rights and building supportive environments for their success. Families also gained valuable life skills, contributing to a more positive and nurturing home atmosphere.
Women-led Village Savings and Loans groups and agribusiness hubs empower women with business, financial, and climate‑resilient agriculture training — strengthening their skills and income potential, and allowing women to contribute even more to their families and communities.
You are building community resilience
Thanks to your support, many women had the opportunity to join income, savings, and credit groups, where they developed financial skills to manage family and community-level economics.
Community Extension Agents received training to create a step-by-step manual for building climate-resilient agriculture systems, helping communities strengthen their financial stability and ensure long-term sustainability.

Stories of Growth and Progress in Ghana
Your support is helping families strengthen nutrition using local foods and knowledge
In northern Ghana, families are facing rising food insecurity driven by climate shocks, poverty, and the rising cost of food. Many households rely on a narrow range of staple foods, making it difficult to meet children’s nutritional needs and contributing to undernutrition and illness.
With your support, Kinvia and local partner RAINS are working with caregivers, schools, and community leaders to strengthen household nutrition through hands‑on cooking demonstrations and practical nutrition education. Families learn how to prepare healthier meals using locally available ingredients — improving dietary diversity without increasing household costs.
For Mansah, a farmer and mother of three, the training marked a turning point.
Since applying what she learned, she has expanded the variety of meals she prepares, and her children now help in the kitchen and eat together as a family. “Yes, I attended and I liked it. I had food to eat that day with my friends. Now our meals are very delicious.” shares George, age 10, who attended demos with his mother, Ghana

Your support is helping girls stay in school
Recent graduates Walhanatu and Zainabu are the first women in their community to pursue higher education. Both former Child Ambassadors through Kinvian, the two are currently in university studying nursing and midwifery with the dreams of furthering women’s health.
Their community in Ghana is typically patriarchal, with families recognizing the importance of education for boys and often keeping girls at home or discouraging them from going to school. It is a testament to Walhanatu and Zainabu’s drive and your support that they, in the face of these gender norms, have triumphed and chosen to dedicate their lives to helping pregnant women, mothers and young children.
“To be among the first females to have gone this far in education in my community, I am proud of it. I want to acquire knowledge and skills that will help me to contribute to improve the lives of women in my society and beyond,” Walhanatu says.
